Almost two years ago, KatiePilot announced a new tool for flight simulation that combines the authenticity of real-world applications in aviation and tools for flight simulation on a tablet device. Now known as efbX (formerly efbPro), the tool is designed as a one-stop shop for all your needs to gather flight data, fuel planning, and even tha latest flight sim news.
The latest video preview highlights just some of its key features. efbX will feature full SimBrief integration that adds its own custom look and feel. You’ll be able to sign off on flight reports, easily read NOTAMs, and also annotate the OFP. It also features full GSX integration, allowing you to interact with ground services right from your tablet.
There will be a app store, where you can add additional applications to your liking, making it truly your own. Apps like Windy, Where2Fly, and even a GPS Spoof Map are also part it. Furthermore, you can also add apps for your favourite flight sim news outlets (FSElite and Threshold) and have everything flight-simulation all in a single app.
It’s still “coming soon”, with no indication from KatiePilot on when efbX will be released. Stay tuned, and we’ll be sure to keep you notified of updates.
