Aerosoft’s Mathijs Kok recently took to the developer’s forum to share new photo previews provided by one of the testers of the upcoming Airbus A330-300 for MSFS.
The Airbus A330 is Airbus’ mid-size wide-body aircraft designed to compete with the Boeing 767 and smaller variants of the Boeing 777 and 787. The aircraft first took to the skies in the early 1990s and has been highly regarded for its fly-by-wire controls and advanced glass cockpit. The A330 has been released in many variants, including the recent Airbus A330neo and Airbus BelugaXL.
These new photo previews are a welcomed sight, as it has been a couple of months since the last preview of Aerosoft’s highly anticipated Airbus A330. In addition, many of the previous previews mainly focused on the cockpit interior, so it is nice to see all the work put into the exterior model.

The tester’s photos showcase the aircraft in Virgin Atlantic’s iconic red livery and the aircraft’s forward fuselage and engine, as well as a shot of the aircraft in-flight. Overall, while the wing textures don’t appear the most visually appealing, all the markings and hatches on the aircraft’s engines immediately stuck out.
Aerosoft still has not provided any firm release date. However, the fact that the aircraft is with testers can provide the flight simulator community some reassurance that the aircraft’s development is nearing the finish line.
