Developed by SIAI/Marchetti, the S.205-18/R is a single engine, four seat, all metal light aircraft. The S.205 has retractable tricycle landing gear and a wing with a span of 35 feet, 8 inches. For the powerplant, the S.205 has an air-cooled, 4 cylinder, Avco Lycoming O-360 piston engine that can produce up to 180 horsepower. With a range of 930 miles and a service ceiling of 17,650 feet, the S.205 is well equipped for almost any mission.
Throughout the decades, the S.205 has been utilized in a number of different roles from civilian to military. The Italian Air Force used the aircraft as a liaison, glider-towing, and training aircraft.
Nemeth Designs brought the SIAI/Marchetti S.205 to MSFS with a very detailed and accurate visual model. 4K textures and PBR materials have been utilized on the entire aircraft. Using real world data, piloting, and maintenance manuals, the S.205 performs the same as in the real world. By default, the S.205 ships with 12 individual liveries and a 3D high definition sound pack. A PDF manual is included and will help guide the user through operation of the aircraft.
