Navigraph has launched a new product: the Navigraph Avionics Plugin for MSFS. This avionics plugin brings a seamless integration and display of your navigational charts into the simulator’s default G3000 and G5000 avionics suites. These suites are used by the TBM 930 and Cessna Citation Longitude at the moment.
The integration solves the issue of having to switch between several windows, tabs or even other devices when trying to view your navigational charts. To make the plugin even more powerful, Navigraph has also added SimBrief integration. Using this you can easily load your SimBrief flight plan into the avionics suite you’re using.
Navigraph has also already outlined future plans for their Avionics Plugin. Though the plugin right now is available only for the G3000 and G5000 avionics suites, the developer is planning on expanding this further in the future with integrations for the G1000 NXi and CJ4 Pro Line 12 avionics suites.
Furthermore, Navigraph has made the plugin available for integration by third party developers for both PC and Xbox. The popular HJet and SF50 Vision Jet G2 from FlightFX will soon be the first third party aircraft to feature the Navigraph integration.
Navigraph’s Avionics Plugin requires a Navigraph Ultimate subscription to display the charts. PC users can easily install the plugin via the Navigraph Hub. For Xbox users, plugin is only available to those third party planes that choose to integrate it (such as the aforementioned planes by FlightFX). Setting up the Avionics Plugin requires a little bit of a set-up, but luckily Navigraph has provided a handy guide over on their website.
