While SimBrief users have enjoyed access to real-world airline routes in North America, regulatory restriction and data aggregation complexity made real-world European routes elusive to obtain.
On the 16th of October, 2025, Navigraph announced that SimBrief has integrated real-world routes data for most flights within Europe and many flights to surrounding continents. This allows pilots to plan flights across Europe with the same level of accuracy as in North America.
As part of this release, pilots will notice a slight change in the user interface, indicated in the picture below. If the route is part of the new real-world release, a green label to the right of the route string saying “real world” will display.
These routes will populate for both Navigraph subscribers and non subscribers. However, non-subscribers may have issues due to discrepancies with older AIRAC cycles, since the routes are based off the current AIRAC cycle.
