More Previews of Orbx Honolulu Cityscape

Orbx’s Iain Emms has taken to the Orbx Forums to post more pictures of their upcoming Honolulu Cityscape scenery. Being that this is a Cityscape project, lots of focus lies on the buildings and unique landmarks to the entire Island of Oahu.

Included in this package are thousands of buildings , 60 individual points of interest with PBR material, accurate terrain mesh, and landclass details. In the images Iain released, places unique to Honolulu such as the Pearl Harbor National Memorial and Diamond Head State Monument have been accurately modeled along with the many hotels and high rises in downtown Honolulu.

Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (PHNL) has not been modeled to the usual level of detail as an Orbx Airport, however, it has been enhanced. Orbx Honolulu will be compatible with FSDreamteam’s version of the airport.

You can check out the forum thread over on the Orbx Forums.

My love for everything flightsim started back on FSX in 2007. I can be found flying the 737 almost every night all over the US on Volanta!
