Mont Blanc Group Progress Update

Mont Blanc Group has shared how their upcoming scenery for, surprisingly, Mont Blanc and the surrounding region, is progressing. The team is working hard on inserting the 3D models of houses and structures onto the terrain mesh, but this is a very demanding and time consuming task. The two cities of Courmayeur an Chamonix, on the Italian and French side of the mountain respectively, are immensely detailed and will feature a lot of custom building, including houses, hotels and churches.

Furthermore, also all of the (summer) ski lifts have been remade, as well as the SkyWay. The team has also positioned 2 small grass airfields in both cities, to facilitate VFR flying. The official heliports and helipads of the area have also been recreated.

The team is aiming for beta testing to start in October, and a release has been scheduled for December. This is all, of course, depending on how things go.
