MM Simulations has released Frankfurt Hahn Airport (EDFH) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/2024, bringing another detailed German destination to life for both cargo and low-cost airline operations.
Once a U.S. Air Force base, Frankfurt Hahn sits roughly 120km west of Frankfurt am Main and now operates as a dual civilian and freight airport. It’s best known as a key Ryanair base, as well as a major hub for cargo airlines serving central Europe. The airport’s blend of commercial and industrial activity makes it an ideal location for simmers who enjoy both passenger and logistics-focused flights.
The team at MM Simulations has recreated the airport with custom terrain elevation, updated satellite imagery, and a highly detailed 3D terminal and cargo complex. The ground layout includes accurate taxiway markings, realistic signage, and a full ILS and navaid setup to support authentic approaches. Lighting across the airport has been enhanced, with realistic night illumination throughout the aprons, terminal, and runway system.

Additional details such as surrounding buildings, interior modelling, and improved ground textures help give the airport a lived-in feel. The developer says the scenery has been optimised for both day and night operations, making it suitable for a range of flight types, from short regional hops to late-night freight runs.
MM Simulations’ Frankfurt Hahn Airport (EDFH) is available now via the iniBuilds Store for £12.69 GBP (plus VAT). You can also get it from SIMMARKET, Orbx and Contrail, for similar prices.
