MK-Studios continues to be busy with developing airports for multiple platforms. In the latest news from the development team, we now know that Rome will be released for Microsoft Flight Simulator very soon, and a Prepar3D version is not far behind. Furthermore, we are pleased to share with you a preview of Cork Airport (EICK).
Starting with Rome Fiumicino Airport (LIRF), MK-Studios revealed that the iconic Italian airport will be released later this month. To be more precise, they have listed the release date as February 24th 2022. Presumably, Rome Fiumicino will be made available through OrbxDirect and other stores on that date, however, it’s not yet known how much the developers will charge for the airport upon release. Alongside the release date, the team shared a handful of new images of the airport, which you can see below.

For those wondering when Rome Fiumicino will release on Prepar3D, we can tell you that MK-Studios is currently aiming to release it before Cross the Pond 2022 (Westbound). MK-Studios said it will hopefully be late March. Again, no guarantees, but at least there’s now a ballpark date in mind.
In an email to FSElite, MK-Studios also shared a new render preview of Cork Airport. Sadly, we weren’t given any further details at this time, but feel free to check out the details in the image below.
