MK Studios Reveals Fort Lauderdale and Miami Airport Development

MK Studios has officially revealed its next airport project for Microsoft Flight Simulator, confirming development of Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport (KFLL). Alongside the announcement, the developer also confirmed that Miami International Airport (KMIA) is already in active development as part of a wider US-focused project.

According to MK Studios, the upcoming Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood scenery will feature highly detailed surroundings and a custom-modeled runway environment. One of the highlighted features is the recreation of the airport’s distinctive runway crossing, where both a highway and railway pass beneath the airfield.

The developer also confirmed that the scenery is expected to be released before this year’s FlightSimExpo. MK Studios added that the team will be attending the event and plans to showcase the airport in person.

Once we have more, we’ll be sure to share it with you.
