Located around 11 kilometres northwest of the city, Porto Airport (LPPR) serves as a key hub for northern Portugal and is well regarded for its efficient layout and modern design. Approaches into Porto are particularly scenic, often offering views along the Atlantic coastline before lining up with the runway.
MK Studios has designed the airport to feature an up-to-date layout based on current charts, alongside detailed modelling across both the terminal interior and exterior. They have also included high-resolution PBR ground textures, custom animated jetways, and accurately placed markings and stand positions throughout the airport environment. The team has been optimised to ensure smooth performance, with seamless integration into the surrounding terrain and photogrammetry.
