Following on from our post only the other day, MK-Studios has released Ponta Delgada for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Situated out in the Atlantic ocean as part of the Portuguese archipelago of the Azores, the island of Ponta Delgada is a key hub for airlines such as Azores Airlines, Ryanair and SATA. João Paulo II Airport (LPPD) is connected by various airlines and serves destinations such as Funchal, London, Lisbon, Porto, Amsterdam, and others.
The airport is designed to use the latest technology thanks to the power of Microsoft Flight Simulator. The ground layout and airport structures are all based on the current 2021 data. Furthermore, there will also be a simplified terminal interior model for those looking to go exploring inside. Despite this, the team says that the airport has been optimised for high performance. As with other MK-Studios products, there is also custom mesh included for the island to ensure everything is seamless.
