Following on from a limited number of previews, MK-Studios has released Keflavik Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The new airport scenery depicts the major airport in Iceland. Home to Icelandair, the airport usually sees flights to the likes of Amsterdam, Boston, Denver, Seattle and beyond.
Known for often having challenging weather conditions, MK-Studios has recreated the airport using the latest technology. This includes a complete terminal interior model, PBR texture work and extensive use of high definition textures throughout. In addition, MK-Studios says that the airport is AI compatible and also optimised for “high performance.” The airport has been created using the most recent ground layout and stands based on current charts and information.
To celebrate the release, MK-Studios are running a 5% discount for a limited time. This means you can pick up the product for $24.65 AUD (US$18.78 | €15,92 | £13.62) from OrbxDirect. It will be added to simMarket soon.
You can get 40% off if you own the Prepar3D version from your original vendor.
Update: Added in info about cross-sim discount and new vendors.
