MK Studios has shared a statement regarding their upcoming Lisbon airport, development plans for MSFS 2024 as well as two new airport announcements.
Beginning with the Lisbon update, MK Studios has set a release date for this scenery. In just three days, on the 23rd of October, Lisbon Rebooted (LPPT) will release at a price of €16,99 (excluding VAT). Customers of the previous version of Lisbon are entitled to a 25% discount. If you have purchased MK Studios’ Lisbon through the MSFS Marketplace, the developer encourages you to convert your license to one applicable on the Contrail Shop or iniBuilds Store where the 25% discount will be applied.
The developer decided to discontinue the “V2” naming scheme, as we’ve seen previously in some of their sceneries, such as Keflavik V2 and Dublin V2. To avoid confusing regarding paid updates, and to clarify that this airport has been built from the ground up using new standards, MK Studios decided to adopt the “Rebooted” moniker for this scenery.

MSFS 2024
With the release of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 around the corner, many people are waiting with purchasing products until the new simulator drops and/or developers share some of their upgrade plans. MK Studios shared that they will be creating dedicated MSFS 2024 releases for all sceneries released in 2024, free of charge. For the older products there might be more work involved to make them compatible, including new ground polygons and LOD changes. The developer shared that, while older products may work in MSFS 2024, they will not be officially supported if bugs do appear.
Zurich and Dusseldorf
Last, but certainly not least, the developer announced two new sceneries: Zurich (LSZH) and Dusseldorf (EDDL). Both sceneries are well on track for a release, with Zurich expected later this year while Dusseldorf is currently scheduled for a release in the first quarter of 2025.
Furthermore, MK Studios is planning a big update for LaGuardia (KLGA) airport once Terminal C has been fully finished. The developer also teased a new airport they are planning, but didn’t share any other information about it other than it being located “on the top of the West Coast”.
