MK-Studios is going back to their roots with their latest announcement: Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport (LIPE). The very first (commercial) airport created by the developer will make its way to MSFS.
MK-Studios first developed Bologna Airport for FSX around 10 years ago. Still available to this date (€12,65 for FSX, simMarket), the company has not revisited this airport as new simulators entered the market. The 10 year anniversary seems like an appropriate return to the picturesque Italian city.
Bologna Airport serves a pretty significant number of airlines, with destinations mostly in Europe. It’s also a hub for Ryanair, who serves a number of destinations from the airport.
MK-Studios did not provide a release window or timeline for Bologna Airport. They did indicate that Dublin v2 is the main focus and has priority for now.
