MisterX Officially Joins X-Plane Team as Part of Development Team

In the X-Plane community, Justin Kissling, aka MisterX, is known for his impressive freeware scenery. He even joined the payware party under the banner of ShortFinal Designs in order to create even more refined scenery products for the simulator.

Now in a surprise announcement on social media, it has been confirmed that Justin has now officially joined Laminar Research as part of the X-Plane team. According to the post on the official social media page, Justin will help build the “next generation” of scenery in X-Plane.

2024 saw the Laminar Research team grow and this new hire is “another big step towards building X-Plane for the future.” How this future will look is not currently known, but we’ll be sure to keep you informed.
