Milviz announced that they would be bringing over the PC-6 Porter to FSX: Steam Edition and have today shared a range of new information and previews surrounding the product.
From our last post, it wasn’t made completely clear which features would carry over from the Prepar3D V4 version, but the new product page has made it clear that pretty much everything will be intact. The only features not carried over are those that wouldn’t be able to be ported over such as PBR effects and TrueGlass. The team also said that the model will also feature lower resolutions simply to not bust-through the 32-bit memory limitations of FSX: Steam Edition.
Otherwise, it’s the same PC-6 Porter as found in Prepar3D V4. That version featured realistic start-ups and flight dynamics, along with the KAP 140 Autopilot, custom sound effects and more.
The product page for the Milviz PC-6 Porter is now online and it lists the product with a price of $29.99. However, it’s not yet available to download.
We’ll let you know as soon as the PC-6 Porter FSX: Steam Edition has been released.
