We already announced a few days ago that developer Military Visualizations is indeed planning on bringing their products to Prepar3D v5, but at a cost. At the time, the specifics of the upgrade pricing were yet unknown, but Milviz has now taken to Facebook to provide more details on their upgrade pricing. In their post, they specify three different upgrade paths.
To begin, every purchase that has been made in the last 6 months will be eligible for a free upgrade. This is including recent releases such as the MD530PBR and the popular KA350i.
Products outside of this window that have been purchased through Milviz’ own website are subject to a $10 fee per product. However, if you have bought more than 5 products, the upgrade fee will be capped at $50.
Products purchased outside of Milviz’ own website will be subject to a $15 fee. The team did not specifically state if there will also be a price cap in place here.
It should be noted that Milviz is currently waiting until Hotfix 2 for Prepar3D v5 is released before they will start porting products over.
