Milviz continues to support Microsoft Flight Simulator with new aircraft after formally confirming that their A-1H Skyraider will be coming to the platform.
The Douglas A-1 saw its first flight in 1946, with over 3180 of the type built over the years. Typically operated by various army units around the world, the A-1 Skyraider can reach speeds of nearly 200mph and fly continuously for over 1,300 miles. The A-1H variant of the aircraft type is an attack aircraft with three dive brakes, a bomb ejector and a director.
Outside of the official announcement, not much else was said by Milviz with regards to how development is progressing.
The A-1H Skyraider joins a number of other developments from Milviz for Microsoft Flight Simulator, including the SR-71, 310r Redux and the ATR-72.
