Miltech Simulations has announced their first product, the USS George H. W. Bush (CVN-77) for MSFS. The USS George H. W. Bush is a supercarrier of the Nimitz class. The carrier was commissioned in 2009, and is stationed in Norfolk. It is currently in active service and is nicknamed ‘Avenger’, after the aircraft flown by then-Lieutenant George H. W. Bush.
Miltech Simulation’s scenery includes 7 static carriers, located all around the world. You can find the carrier in, for example, its homeport in Norfolk, Key West, the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Japan amongst others. The team pledges to add any location to the add-on that customers request (for free). This can be done by e-mailing the team with the coordinates of your location. The carrier itself has been made with high quality custom modelling, and detailed PBR textures. The catapult and arrestor cables are fully functional, for which a custom version of Touching Cloud’s Kinetic Assistant has been included. The carrier also comes with frigates included, which are placed around the carrier and can also be used to land on.
