Miltech is adding another level to military simulation with the announcement of their Aerial Refuelling Pro. The add-on, which is set to release during this summer, will allow you to do air-to-air refuelling, a daunting and complex flying task (just ask your fellow DCS simmers).
Aerial Refuelling Pro will contain several tanker models, including the Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker, Lockheed Martin KC-130 and Airbus A330 MRTT. These will feature realistic sounds and calls from the refuelling operator, and the refuelling times and capacity are adjusted based on the aircraft type.
The add-on will feature both flying boom and probe-and-drogue methods for refuelling. Miltech Simulations has also ensured compatibility with third party aircraft, including all aircraft developed by DC Designs, CJ Simulations and IndiaFoxtEcho. First party aircraft are also compatible.
