Miltech Simulations just wrapped up their presentation live on the FSElite stage at FSExpo in Providence, RI where they discussed some upcoming new features and recapped existing products.
The team started off talking about their new Mission Hub, a new mission/scenario editor for MSFS 2024. This is inspired by the trigger > action framework used in DCS and the ARMA MilSim games, and will enable users to create any kind of mission they would like in MSFS.
The team then moved into the MH-60 helicopter. There are 3 variants, one for utility missions, one which is a more traditional J-Hawk, and another Seahawk. The level of detail on this helicopter is “superb” and the team described it as their best work to date.
Sounds on the MH-60 have been developed in partner ship with Echo 19, and the helicopter even comes with a working weapons system.
Originally the product was slated for release in March, however after the team visited a Danish warship with a helicopter in active service and the decision was made to include a SAR variant, this was pushed back. The team confirmed the helicopter is now releasing in July 2025 and will be priced at $40 USD. This price will include all variants.
In other announcements, the team confirmed that their Miltech Fighters 2 project has been transferred to another developer. They also announced for the first time that in parternship with Blackbird Simulations, the Miltech team are building an A1H Skyraider. This is expected to release this summer and the team have a working version of their new warplane at their booth here at the expo.
