Following the announcement of pricing and availability earlier this week, MilTech has released its long-awaited M2K-C for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
This is a rendition of the Dassault Mirage 2000, a military fighter jet developed in the 1970s. It is flown by a single pilot, can reach speeds of Mach 2.2 and has the ability to fly upwards of 50,000ft.
If you are curious about the included system functionality, MilTech has included an autopilot system, a full inertial navigation system and numerous HUD modes. This includes weapon-specific, navigational and approach modes. Furthermore, there is a functional RWR which displays all traffic identified by the radar.
If you purchase the plane through MilTech and other vendors outside of the in-sim Marketplace, there is a semi-functional weapon system. Expect air-to-air S550 and R530 missiles, with visible shooting and tracking simulation, along with a visible gun with realistic sound effects and various countermeasure equipment. There is also full product documentation, an INS flight planning tool and various accessories that can be attached to the plane such as GPU, engine covers, and wheel checks.
