Rotary wing enthusiasts rejoice. Miltech Simulations, known for its rendition of the MH-60 military helicopter, is bringing the Bo 105 to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 in collaboration with Project Stratosphere.
While you might know the MBB Bo 105 for its aerobatic stunts in Red Bull colors, you might not know that it’s effectively the grandfather of the modern Airbus Helicopters H135/ EC135 line. Several variants of the 105 were previewed in the stream including military, aerobatic, EMS, police, broadcast, and civilian. In addition to a host of new walk around features like replaceable rotor tip covers, the 105 also features different panel configurations based on the age of the aircraft. Sounds for the helicopter are confirmed to be produced by Echo19. No concrete release date for the Bo 105 was provided, but it is anticipated sometime in Q1 2026.
Miltech MH-60 Updates

The V1.1 update for the MH-60 is planned for release in the coming days. Over 35 fixes are coming to the MH-60 across multiplayer, engines, AFCS, and avionics. A second update, due in February 2026, will be focused on the flight model, mission systems, visuals, and audio logic.
U-2

The U-2’s internal and external models have been updated to add more detail while work continues on the core avionics and systems. Scenery assets in the pack have been completed, and sound design work is starting. No ETA for the release of the U2 has been provided.
CH-53

Work continues on the CH-53 in parallel to the U-2, since separate teams are assigned to each project. The CH-53’s release is slated for AFTER the U-2, but no specific timeline was provided. 3 sceneries and 30 Mission Hub missions will be included in the package at no additional cost. Due to the very high-poly model, the CH-53 will likely be an MSFS 2024-only release. Exterior and interior modeling is complete along with interior animations, while work on the systems continues to progress.
Supercarrier
A quality of life update is coming to Miltech’s Supercarrier that will feature a new deck crew and several fixes for performance issues. The USS Intrepid model is due sometime in February after the MH-60 update and will be complimentary for MSFS20 and MSFS24 users.
Mission Hub
Things are looking positive for an FS2024 Marketplace release of Mission Hub, which would cover both PC and Xbox. While a final round of testing has started, the project may require another delay if issues with Xbox compatibility arise.
An update for Mission Hub is planned for March 2026 which will bring over-the-cloud mission sharing for PC and console platforms, direct-to-sim web-based mission creation, random and “anywhere” missions (firefighting and search + rescue initially), more vehicles, more sling-load options, and lay the framework for new mission types including Surveillance and Signal Intelligence.
