Immersive Audio, the developers behind the Immersion Sound packs for the 737NG and the Diamond DA40 has taken to Facebook to share their roadmap for the rest of the year. Some of the information included in the post relates to the iFly 737NG, a new service pack for the PMDG 737NG and also ProSim users.
The first piece of news on the list from Immersive Audio’s roadmap is regarding iFly 737 NG Cockpit Sound Immersion. The soundpack will hopefully be released within the next 72 hours. This package will include all the same high-quality sounds found in the PMDG NGX immersion sound pack. Furthermore, the team are also hoping to make the 737NG CFM Immersion Soundpack compatible with the iFly 737NG also in the future.
As for customers who own the NGX Cockpit Sound Immersion package already, service pack 4 is on its way soon. It won’t be as significant of an update as previous ones, but it will contain new and improved sounds. This will be a free update for current users.
Finally, the roadmap was concluded with the news that a new product should be released in June. Immersive Audio are working on two projects at once, so can’t say which one will be finished first.
