Following a short 2-day delay due to real-world events, Microsoft has released World Update 8: Iberia for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The new World Update focuses on Spain, Portugal, Andorra & Gibraltar by adding new photogrammetry cities, bespoke airports and nearly 100 new points of interest.
This region has been enhanced with a variety of new, high-resolution geographic improvements, including elevation data, photogrammetry, and aerial imagery for a stunning experience. This update includes four handcrafted airports, 99 custom points of interest (POIs), four bush trips, four new discovery flights, and five brand new landing challenges.
Those new handcrafted airports are:
- La Seu d’Urgell Airport (LESU)
- Pico Airport (LPPI)
- Faro Airport (LPFR)
- A Coruna Airport (LECO)
For those wondering about the photogrammetry cities, the newly added ones are:
- Lisbon
- Barreiro
- Malaga
- Bilbao
- Cascais
- Coimbra
As for the new points of interest, here are a handful of 99 included with the new World Update.
