In a rather short posting on the official Microsoft Flight Simulator blog, update #5 for the simulator has been delayed. The update, which was due to release today, has been delayed due to the team wanting to fix some issues that have arisen with the autopilot.
The short statement said that during testing, the team “encountered some issues related to the autopilot across various planes right before we were set to release Update 5.” It continued, “[we] decided to take some extra time to address the issues to ensure that everyone will enjoy this update. It’s going to take a few days, but it is close!”.
Whilst the news will come at a disappointment to some, the matter remains that the update is only days away. More details on what update #5 will bring can be found in our previous article.
