The Microsoft Flight Simulator team will be back on April 15th 2026 for the first time in a while for a live developer Q&A session. These sessions have been sorely missed in recent times as they have always proven to be a great way to learn about the state of the simulator and what is to come in the future.
With Sim Update 5 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 just around the corner, the team has decided now it the perfect time to go live to tell the community about the major changes that come with the new sim update. No doubt, we will also see some surprises from the special guests who will join the stream.
As usual, Jorg (Head of Flight Simulator) will be present, along with Asobo developers Seb (CEO) and Martial (Executive Producer). During the session, there will be an opportunity for the community to ask questions live, and you will also hear some of the curated questions submitted by the community ahead of time.
We are likely to learn more about Sim Update 5, VR for PlayStation 5, and maybe some other surprises.
Our team will look to recap as much as possible for those who can’t tune in. The stream will be live Wednesday, April 15 at 10:30am Pacific time (1730 UTC) via the official Microsoft Flight Simulator Twitch channel.
