The team behind Microsoft Flight Simulator has taken to the official website to post yet another development update of the upcoming simulator set to launch August 18th. Per usual, the team has shared their favorite screenshots and videos from the simulator, but also some important information regarding the Closed Beta and a new Partnership Series.
Closed Beta
The Closed Beta is set to launch next week, July 30th. The team has now started preparing Closed Beta for release next week and will soon be posting full build notes with the build release.
New invitations for the Closed Beta have also been sent out today to new users. The developer mentions that the users that will receive invites between today and July 30th, will be given access to the Closed Beta Preview build.
Partnership Series Update
Today the team has released a teaser for their upcoming partnership series. The next flight simulator giant to join forces with the Microsoft Flight Simulator will be VATSIM.

A video was also posted by VATSIM, teasing the upcoming collaboration and mentioning that it will be available on August 18th to use with the simulator.
