Microsoft Flight Simulator has announced a new partnership with Embraer, the Brazilian aerospace leader, in conjunction with World Update 19: Brazil, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana.
Embraer is a Brazilian aerospace company that designs, manufactures, and sells commercial, military, executive, and agricultural aircraft. It is one of the largest aircraft manufacturers in the world and is particularly known for its highly popular regional jets such as the ERJ and E-Jet family.
The Microsoft Flight Simulator team’s goal for the collaboration is to bring as many of the Embraer aircraft models to the simulator as part of their ‘Expert Series’. Microsoft Flight Simulator will be kicking off the collaboration with the popular Embraer Praetor 600, a long range super-midsize business jet, set for release in the simulator later this year.
The Embraer Praetor 600 is a super-midsize business jet that offers long-range capabilities, advanced technology, luxurious interiors and is one of the most capable aircraft in its class. It has a range of 4018 nautical miles, a maximum speed of Mach 0.83 and a service ceiling of 45,000ft.
