Microsoft has released the much anticipated Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The latest iteration of Microsoft Flight Simulator adds a range of new features, enhancements and aircraft.
MSFS 2020 was an evolution in flight simulation, and 2024 builds on top of that foundation. It has a new and improved flight dynamics to make flying feel more realistic and immersive than ever. The graphics and world also received a huge upgrade, utilising new technology to make any part of the world stand out and available for exploration.
Microsoft has worked together with a number of partners for new content and technologies in MSFS 2024. Several aircraft have been developed by third-party developers such as iniBuilds, Carenado, Got Friends, Blackbird Simulations, Hype Performance Group, Miltech Simulations, S&H, FlightFX, DC Designs, ATSimulations, BlueMesh and more. Similarly, Gaya Simulations has been responsible for many of the hand-crafted airports, while Orbx & Puffin Flight have worked on worldwide obstacles.
MSFS 2024 also comes with new and enhanced content, with availability differing per version. The Standard Edition features 70 aircraft and 150 upgraded airports, the Deluxe Edition features 80 aircraft and 155 airports, the Premium Deluxe Edition features 95 aircraft and 160 airports, and the Aviator Edition features a total of 125 aircraft and 160 airports.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is available right now for PC and Xbox, starting at €79,89 for the Standard Edition.
