Microsoft has recently released its tenth Famous Flyer aircraft, the Boeing 707-320C for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Developed by Working Title and iniBuilds, the 707-320C recreates one of Boeing’s most important early jet aircraft, with a focus on authentic systems and period-accurate operations. The aircraft includes three navigation configurations: the Carousel IV-A INS, UNS-1 FMS and Garmin GNS 530.
The aircraft also features a Virtual Flight Engineer, detailed electrical, pneumatic and pressurisation systems, performance calculations and an EFB. The Carousel IV-A INS has been particularly well simulated, including alignment, inertial drift and waypoint management.
The 707 features a fully modelled cockpit and cabin, detailed Pratt & Whitney JT3D engines, animated control surfaces, operable cargo doors and a configurable combi interior. Other features include a simulated Bendix RDR-1 weather radar, water injection into the engines to recover thrust when hot or high-elevation conditions and more.
The Boeing 707-320C is also compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024’s Career Mode, VR and MSFS24 EFB features.
