In a shock announcement, Microsoft has unveiled a brand new flight simulator at the E3 2019 event in Los Angeles.

Microsoft’s new simulator utilizes satellite data and Azure AI to generate the beautiful world we see in the trailer, though the exact specifics of just how it does that are unknown at this time.

You can read more about the new simulator (and sign up to become an ‘insider’) here.

The new flight simulator will be accessible on Xbox via the Xbox pass as well as on PC.  There has been no mention of time frame or pricing but it appears like Microsoft has 2020 in mind for a potential release.

Take a look at the trailer above to see the simulator in action. We will be sure to bring you any more updates regarding the new simulator.
