One of the exhibitors that the community was incredibly keen to check out last month at FSExpo was POSCON. POSCON, an acronym for Positive Control Network, is a brand new multiplayer air traffic and air traffic control network with a focus on improving on the existing networks that are currently available to flight simmers and virtual air traffic controllers. Their exhibit at FSExpo was widely praised for the innovation on display in their demos throughout the expo.
Today, Matt Davies, also previously known as Belynz on his Twitch channel and various other online media, has announced that he has been appointed as the Lead Technical Manager of POSCON in a post to his Facebook page.
In the post, Matt discusses his early experiences in online flying and the issues that face the existing networks, along with his idea of the direction that POSCON is going to take.
While POSCON is currently in closed alpha testing and active development, Matt says that more information regarding POSCON and the integration of his other projects, such as ProjectFLY and Simstall, will be coming soon.
