Majestic Software surprised the community earlier today with new renders for its Q400, which is being developed for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The team wanted to share some progress on development, but did make it clear that these are renders and not in-sim images.

Sadly, there was no other news or information from Majestic about the long-awaited Q400 from them. The Q400 on FSX/P3D was one of the most in-depth and high-fidelity aircraft on the platform(s) and was beloved by all. It is hotly anticipated for modern platforms, but Majestic continues to make the wait long for the community.
We last heard from Majestic Software a year ago when they confirmed that the plane was being built from the ground up for the new simulators. Majestic has stated that they have re-worked all of the EFIS screens and introduced a new EFB, with Navigraph Charts integration.
It has been previously said that the team is working on the Dash 8 Q400, Q300 and “very likely” the Q200 for Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Time will tell if that is still the case.
