Magknight, the developer of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner for X-Plane, has presented its monthly update over on the X-Plane Forum. The post gives an update of the implemented changes in the new cockpit they’re currently working on, which has provoked quite the reaction from dissatisfied users. For clarification, Magknight reminds their users their main focus is on the modelling, rather than the texturing.
A lot has been done in that last month; the side panels, HUD, glare shield, nose wheel tiller, AC vents were added, and more. To replicate the cockpit as close to real-life as possible, Magknight has also added closets, coat hangers, document and pen holders, and even the obligatory cups of coffee to name but a few additions. For the coming months, they still have the compass, rudder pedals, yoke, light fixtures, floor rails, several animations and obviously, all textures, among others on their to-do list.
Take a look at the Developer’s website for more information regarding future updates, or you can purchase the Dreamliner for X-Plane directly from the X-Plane store for $44.95 including VAT.
