Scenery developer Macco Simulations has released its rendition of Cancun International Airport (MMUN) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The airport release follows on from their Manchester and Birmingham releases over the past few years.
Cancun Airport represents over 10-months of work from the team and comes with a range of features. The airport comes with fully custom jetways, interior modelling and custom taxi signs. One area Macco Simulations really focused on was the ground textures, which have 8 different layers used for an authentic look.
Editor’s Note: An earlier version of this article referenced an interview from FSNews whereby it was stated that Terminal 4 was missing from the original release. The developer has confirmed to FSElite that this is not the case and Terminal 4 is fully modelled and textured within this v1.0 release of Cancun Airport.
Visitors from Canada, the US and Europe come on a regular basis to take full advantage of the local weather and hotels. Airlines such as KLM, BA, Condor, Aeromexico, JetBlue and Air Canada regularly bring passengers to the large Mexican airport.
You can buy Cancun International Airport from Macco Simulations’ website now for £11.99. It will be coming to the Contrail Shop and the in-sim Marketplace in the future.
