Low-End PC Solutions has released their recreation of Peru’s aviation hub, Lima Jorge Chávez International Airport (SPJC), for MSFS.
Situated at the foot of the South American Andes, Lima’s Jorge Chávez International Airport (SPJC) is Peru’s main international airport and, thus, by extension, the primary port of entry for most tourists. The airport is the city’s second airport, succeeding Limatambo Airport in 1965 after capacity constraints rendered the city’s first airport obsolete. Today, the airport serves as the primary hub for ATSA Airlines, JetSmart Peru, LATAM Peru, and Star Peru, among others, and sees numerous international passenger and freight carriers jet off to all four corners of the globe from its two runways.
On an interesting side note, Lima Jorge Chávez International Airport is named after the famous Peruvian Jorge Chávez Dartnell. Born in 1887, Jorge Chávez acquired his pilot license when he was only 23 years old and acquired fame for setting numerous altitude records at the time, including by taking a Blériot monoplane to an altitude of 5’400ft and crossing the Simplon pass in Italy by air.
Low-End PC Solutions has published its rendition of this important South American aviation hub for MSFS users to enjoy. The product, in addition to featuring a highly accurate virtual version of the airport, comes with custom mesh for ground textures, custom-created 3D models featuring PBR texturing, and custom-made photorealistic textures which can be downloaded separately for users wanting the highest level of immersion.
Low-End PC Solutions rendition of the airport can be purchased via the developer’s simMarket store page and will cost new customers €13.48. Exc. VAT. Customers who previously purchased any of the developer’s existing MSFS products will be subject to buying this new release at a discounted price of €10.0 Exc. VAT.
