Lost Landings Brings Four Abandoned California Airstrips to MSFS 2024

The first Lost Landings pack gives bush pilots four abandoned airfields to rediscover in Northern California.

Lost Landings Brings Four Abandoned California Airstrips to MSFS 2024

Attic Flyer Studio has released Lost Landings: California Pack 1 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, recreating four abandoned airstrips scattered across Northern California.

Rather than focusing on active airports, the new series is centred around airfields that have disappeared from regular aviation use. For its first release, the developer has recreated four strips based on how they appeared when they were still operational.

Included in the pack are Kettempom Airport (US-6578), Hell’er High Water Airport (45CL), Carter Creek Airstrip (US-3980) and Lake Mountain Landing Strip (US-3397). All four are located within a relatively small area of Northern California, making it possible to visit each of them during the same flying session.

The airfields have been designed with challenging approaches and feature custom 3D modelling, 4K PBR textures, custom vegetation and biomes. Hangars include modelled interiors and animated doors.

Lost Landings: California Pack 1 is available now through OrbxDirect for $15.99 AUD (excluding tax).
