A week ago today, we received the long awaited official announcement of P3D V4. The next revolutionary edition to the P3D line with it being the first 64 bit edition to Lockheed Martin’s popular simming platform. This will not only bring better performance, it will also bring a wider range of capabilities that developers will be able to take advantage of.

This sim will bring a huge change to the traditional sim we are used to. VAS, the killer aspect of the sim for many, should no longer be a worry. With the ability to fly high level aircraft between demanding sceneries.

Numerous developers have announced their plans for V4. We have created two articles which briefly explains various developer’s stances on V4. You can find part 1 here and part 2 here. Not all products will be available at release, but more will become available over the coming days and weeks.

The pricing for P3D V4 is the same as seen in V3. Meaning $59.95 for the Academic license, $199 for the Professional license and $2300 for the Professional Plus license. You can find all the prices on the P3D website.
