The next Local Legend has been released for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The new Beechcraft Model 18 is the latest aircraft to join the Local Legend fleet and the next aircraft developed by Carenado.
The ‘Twin Beech’ first flew in 1937 and went on to become one of the most popular twin-powered aircraft ever created. Seeing over 9000 made during its lifetime, the Beechcraft Model 18 became a favourite amongst pilots thanks to its power, performance and range. It may be an older aircraft, but it still flies in numerous countries around the world for all sorts of missions.
With a top speed of 230mph, it can fly across the latest World Update (USA) whilst you take in the sights of the all-new city and land data down below. If you need to climb to avoid terrain, the Beechcraft Model 18 can climb to over 20,000ft.
