Microsoft has released Local Legend 24 for Microsoft Flight Simulator, introducing the CAC Boomerang alongside the recently launched World Update 21: Australia.
Developed by iniBuilds, the CAC Boomerang is a historic World War II aircraft and remains the only combat aircraft to have been designed and built entirely in Australia. Created during a time of urgency, the aircraft entered production quickly and went on to serve primarily in ground attack and close support roles rather than as a front-line interceptor.

In Microsoft Flight Simulator, the Boomerang is presented as a compact, radial-powered fighter, offering a different experience compared to more commonly featured warbirds. While not the fastest aircraft of its era, its handling characteristics and short-field performance made it well-suited to operations in challenging environments, something that translates well into the sim.
The aircraft is available now via the in-sim Marketplace for $14.99.
