Microsoft has released Local Legend 21 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, introducing the Eurocopter EC135 as a free addition to all simmers. This marks the final aircraft in the “make-good” series promised by the development team following the launch of MSFS 2024. The helicopter has been developed by Nemeth Designs.
The EC135 T1 variant is included, powered by two Turbomeca Arrius 2B1A1 engines, each generating 583 shaft horsepower. The aircraft features a cruise speed of 158 mph, a top speed of 178 mph, a range of 395 miles, and a service ceiling of 17,150 ft, with a maximum climb rate of 1,500 feet per minute.

First flown in 1994 and entering service in 1996, the EC135 is a development of the MBB Bo 105 and Bo 108 platforms. It is widely used in emergency medical services, law enforcement, VIP transport, and utility roles. Over 1,400 units have been produced, with the type later rebranded as the H135 under Airbus Helicopters.
In-sim, the aircraft includes 10 liveries reflecting both civilian and emergency service operators. You can also take part in the new mission that sees you performing a quick search and rescue. The package arrives alongside City Update 12: Germany, available now for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
