After the announcement they’ve become an official Microsoft Flight Simulator partner, Hungarian developers LHSimulations have posted a few previews of their rendition of Budapest Ferenc Liszt Internation Airport (LHBP) for MSFS on their Facebook page.
We can expect it to be a new version, no simple conversion. LHSimulations has confirmed that the latest new buildings, like the new pier, and the TNT and DHL cargo building will be included, as well as high-resolution textures, using PBR to make it look as realistic as possible.
LHSimulations was founded in 2009, aiming to recruit and gather all Hungarian flight simulator add-on designers to work together on Hungarian sceneries and aircraft. Since 2009, they released 3 freeware airport sceneries, a landmark scenery, repaints and more.
There’s no further information regarding a release date, but you can visit their website in the meantime and learn more about LHSimulations.
