Developer LHSimulations has been seemingly quiet over the past few months, but with good reason. That reason is a new and improved rendition of Budapest Airport for Prepar3D v4 and v5.
According to the developer, version 2 of the Budapest Airport for P3D will include all-new objects, PBR texturing throughout and SODE integration. In fact, this new version takes some of the Microsoft Flight Simulator features (position of the airport and runways) and has brought them to the P3D version. Furthermore, new buildings have been added over the original release, which includes WizzAir’s hangar, Terminal II PIER, the new DHL buildings and also a number of hotels and office buildings.
Budapest Airport (LHBP) connects many parts of Europe thanks to the huge offering of routes from WizzAir and other airlines. There is also a fairly significant volume of cargo that passes through the airport, meaning simmers will have plenty of reasons to visit the airport in Hungary.
Those who purchased Budapest Airport v1 from LHSimulations will be able to get 50% off the new version upon release. No timeline has been given, but the product page states it is “coming soon.”
In the mean time, be sure to check out the newly released previews of Budapest Airport v2 for P3D.
