LHSimulations announces their next project through their Facebook page, Hévíz-Balaton Airport (LHSM) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The developer has partnered with Microsoft Flight Simulator and previously announced their rendition of Budapest airport.
Located in western Hungary, Hévíz-Balaton Airport gains its popularity from seasonal charter flights during the warm weather periods, due to its location near the large Lake Balaton. The airport was previously a military base and after its transformation into a civil airport, financial problems forced the airport to shut down numerous times. Since 2012 the airport is in full operation.
The features image is that of the older part of the airport located to the south of the new terminal building. The image shows the detail put forth by the team on older military bunkers and buildings that surround the airport.
