X-Plane 12’s popular freeware add-on, the LevelUp 737NG Series, has now released as version 2, bringing with it a wealth of new features and upgrades.
With 8K textures, new exterior and cabin modelling and revamped audio with their FMOD 2.0 sound pack, the aircraft, which harnesses the incredibly popular ZiboMod, receives a complete visual and audio overhaul for X-Plane 12. The package includes the entire Boeing 737NG family from the -600 variant to the -900ER.

Among the changes to the exterior modelling, the scimitar and non-winglet wingtips have received improved modelling and texturing, with new 8K textures for the landing gear, fuselage and tail of the twin-jet narrow-body airliner.
The FMOD 2.0 sound update includes newly recorded professional sound sets, including stick shaker rattle at startup, bleed air rush while shutting the engines down and also improved logic for touchdown sounds and other behaviours.
CornUI comes as the EFB (electronic flight bag), with a complete reskin of the Zibo Tablet, which LevelUp say brings ‘a familiar layout for Zibo pilots combined with improved legibility through LevelUp’s design language’, adding ‘over time, new features will be introduced to deliver a more intuitive flight experience.’
LevelUp say minimising file space has been a key component of the V2 release, with the entire download less than 1GB. You can download LevelUp 737NG Series V2 for X-Plane 12 for free at Orbx.com or via the Threshold Forums.
