Leonardo Softhouse has continued to freely update their Fly the Maddog X (64-bit edition) with a brand new update that adds support for Prepar3D v5.1, along adding new features and functionality to the ever-improving and impressive aircraft Version 1.7b753, now available to download for owners of the aircraft.
As for the changes, Leonardo Softhouse has optimised the aircraft for Prepar3D v5.1, meaning that elements such as the PBR and metallic reflections work with the Enhanced Atmospheric effects within the simulator. In addition, the airport has brand new support for Pushover, Aviaserver EFB and new additional parameters for the zero fuel weight in the OFP. The aircraft has also seen fixes to the core code that resolves issues with the VNAV, the battery usage when the EFB is off and also fine-tuning to the flight dynamics and reverse thrust. The changes are available for both the Prepar3D v4.4+ version and the Prepar3D v5+ version.
The update can be download from the forums and installed over your current installation. It can also be downloaded from simMarket.
The Leonardo Softhouse Fly the Maddog X is one of our favourite aircraft for the simulator and we’re also giving you the chance to win your very own copy.
If you can’t wait and want to get your hands on the product, you can do so via simMarket where it’s available for €95.00.
