LatinVFR has released its Airbus A380-800 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
The aircraft is now available through the in-sim Marketplace, bringing the superjumbo to both simulators. It is available for MSFS 2024 on PC and Xbox, along with MSFS 2020 on PC, while the Xbox version for MSFS 2020 is still pending.
LatinVFR says the aircraft includes an advanced FMS with SIDs, STARs, approaches, holds, step climbs, secondary flight plans and other tools. The A380 also features managed and selected autopilot modes, autothrust, CAT III dual autoland, RNAV and FLS approaches, and a managed step-climb system.
Systems-wise, the aircraft includes a live ECAM with warning, caution and memo messages, hydraulics, electrical bus simulation, a multi-tank fuel system, automatic transfers, fuel jettison effects, brake temperature simulation, and an IRS alignment process.
Both Rolls-Royce Trent 970 and Engine Alliance GP7200 engine options are included, each with their own performance data and behaviour. LatinVFR also says the aircraft makes use of MSFS 2024 features such as clearcoat paint, rain effects, progressive weathering, icing, snow accumulation, and CFD across the airframe. Furthermore, the aircraft is compatible with MSFS 2024’s Career Mode.

The package includes 20 liveries, two engine variants, and two cabin configurations, including a standard cabin and a premium Emirates-style interior.
