Laminar Research and Orbx Live Interview Happening Next Month

The group at Flight Simulation Association will be hosting a new developer panel next month that will feature both Laminar Research and Orbx for a 90-minute discussion.

“X-Plane creator Austin Meyer will be joined by Orbx CEO Anna Cicognani and Sante Sottile, Orbx’s Community Manager. The 90-minute interview will cover the latest X-Plane 12 news and find out more about what it takes to develop scenery and aircraft add-ons in the popular and versatile X-Plane platform.”

The live interview will take place on July 16th 2022 at 21:00 UTC and will see the group discussing what the future holds for the next generation of X-Plane. As you will have seen from our extensive Dev Deep Dive series, there’s a lot to unpack about X-Plane 12.

Those who are registered with a free account with Flight Simulation Association will be able to submit questions which may get answered by the participants during the live stream. Not only that, but there are prizes from the likes of Aerobask, Orbx, Thrustmaster and more for those that take part and watch.

This interview is part of Orbx’s #FlyJuly initiative that celebrates everything in flight simulation.
